Hilde Debusscher
CEO
Hilde is a certified Blockchain expert from HKU and INSEAD.
As a Belgian native she acquired extensive marketing and data management expertise from the automotive industry at RENAULT in Europe. As an entrepreneur she pioneered the e-start-up of a global apparel brand from Hong Kong in 2008.
Hilde holds a Master in Business Engineering from the KU Leuven in Belgium. Previously she lived in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Miami, and is now fluent in Mandarin.
WHAT WE DO
Zospeum is researching and developing DLT (Block Chain) solutions to make businesses more transparent.
While DLT is currently in the early stage of development and some security issues still remain to be addressed, we truly believe now is the time to seed the technology and revolutionise how businesses store information and conduct transactions. There are many reasons to do this, including faster speed, lower costs, greater security and fewer errors.
WHAT IS DLT
In the nineties internet was created to exchange information. In 2008 Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), also called blockchain, was created for the exchange of values.
Blockchain is a distributed, immutable database that is shared across all the nodes participating in the peer-to-peer network. Cryptographic elements like public/private key and hash function are added to secure the transactions. Finally during the consensus algorithm that timestamps the transactions, miners compete against each other to perform computations on the network and to get rewarded.
